Woah that's kinda silly of you to want to know me more :3
rail is your (probably not) local internet fox 🦊 living in Poland 🇵🇱. Wanna know a few things about me? Well that's the place.
I'm 21 at the time of writing this, non-binary (of the "gender is a scam" kind), trans, polyamorous, somewhat neurospicy, supposedly a "nerd" and definitely full of strong opinions on many matters. I speak Polish (natively) and English ("fluently"). Also trying to learn some Ukrainian and Russian for totally-not gay reasons >.<
I'm a creature of many interests that are sometimes changing very randomly and out of nowhere. Also just because something is my interest doesn't mean that I must be particularly good at it. The very slight touch of ADHD makes my hobbies somewhat funny ^^.
I like trains and to learn about them: the infrastructure, rolling stock, technology, logistics etc. I also like photography and especially photographing trains and infrastructure, tho I also really enjoy taking portraits of people. In an attempt of making my hobby a tad more useful I'm contributing to Wikimedia Commons by uploading some of my works and heck some of them are even used on Wikipedia now :3 You can see the gear that I use here.
I'm a computer toucher. Like playing with my puter (all of my friends are in it!) and doing linux which I've been daily-driving for a few years now (yes I use arch btw). Computer networking is really cool and I'm definitely the kind of person to have very specific reasons to rant about a shitty config of my ISP.
I professionally shitpost on the Fediverse and unprofessionally translate software like the MediaWiki. Yeah I've spent a fair share of my life being involved in various wiki projects in different ways and I'm pretty proud I could contribute to it.
Sometimes I play games. Some of the games I like: Witcher 3, Skyrim, Gothic (I and II), Dead Cells.
I also like to consume music tho usually it's a purely aesthetic experience for me and I don't care about the lyrics nor understanding the "message" too much. I enjoy folk and ethnic music the (ab)normal amount, especially when it's also mixed with modern genres like metal. Otherwise my taste can be very random and hard to describe. Some of the bands/musicians I like: Týr, In Extremo, the HU, Corvus Corax, System of a Down, Daft Punk, Кино, Måneskin, Dawid Podsiadło, Laboratorium Pieśni, Faun, Percival.
